I began painting when I retired from the NHS (only to return when covid hit us ). I'm self taught, but have received some guidance from a couple of well known artists. I've enjoyed creating paintings in different mediums but prefer acrylics or pen and ink.

I first began exhibiting in  Caerfili gallery, this quickly expanded to Queen Street Gallery, Nolton Gallery, Giles gallery and I was invited to  a joint exhibition with Kevin Sinnott at his gallery in Pontycymmer.

I have developed my own quirky style of paintings depicting the Welsh valleys. Only I like to vamp the colour up a few notches. They are all very colourful and unique.
